In June 1979 when the Train Collectors Society was started, Peter Gomm produced the first Newsletter. It was a single typed page roneoed off. By the second edition it had grown to 5 pages and then went from strength to strength. Issue No.48 of July 1987 hat the new title of TCS News a name it has kept until Issue No.137 of September 2006.
