'Any make, Any gauge , Any age'

2nd Edition, March 2007

Editorial

May I thank those members who wrote in to say that they liked the first issue of Train Collector. I hope that I have been able to match it for interest this time. Thanks also to those who have contributed to this issue and promised articles for the future. Our year for celebration this time is 1964, a year not celebrated at the time by Hornby enthusiasts as it saw the end of a legend. For those of our members interested in Hornby 0 gauge Nicholas Oddy has provided two articles that started life on the Internet. We also have three other articles which are spin-offs from ones in the last issue. As a means of helping to fund expansion of Train Collector we have had a sales drive and gained both advertising and the agreement of Vectis Auctions to sponsor the back cover - for which we thank them. In the last issue we took the bold step of making the magazine fully coloured throughout and this time we have increased the size of the magazine by four pages. Next time we....well, you will just have to wait and see!
